Fake money, fun times

Early morning insomnia compels me to blog again.

It's very rarely that I try and get to the bottom of what wakes me up early in the morning. One thing that always does is drinking. Any more than 5 drinks in one night and I'm up at 4 AM. That wasn't the case last night so let's move on.

Gambling, either in the market or at the tables. This has got to be at least part of it, I own several months rent worth of may put spreads AND, last night was casino night, where I learned that it can be a lot of fun to gamble with fake money as long as there's cute girls around.

3) Anticipation.

I'd like to send a shout out to the short blonde girl who bought me a drink last night. Here's an irish blessing that sounds less like a blessing and more like a neo-realist tagline:

"May your saddest moment in the future be no more painful than the joy of your happiest moment in the past."

Home sweet home

It's midnight and I just got home from work. I'm hoping some Chicane can put me into a more powerful, energy-replenishing, sleep, a sleep on steroids if you will.

I downloaded the entire discography and it makes the hours fly by late at night in the office.

Money may make the world go around (and I think it actually rotates faster for people who have more of it) but it only takes one person to make it stop for you.
